In this amazing video you can see compilation of the Aurora Borealis from August to November, captured in the areas near Nordreisa, Troms, Norway.
Aurora borealis (also known as northern lights) is the effect named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora and the Greek name for the north wind, Boreas. The Aurora Borealis are normally only visible from the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
Northern Lights (Aurora borealis) occur when solar particles enter the Earth’s atmosphere and on impact emit burning gases that produce coloured lights. Oxygen produces green and yellow lights and nitrogen produces blue lights.
